Glutenfree & vegan sesame banana crackers
Easy to make crackers or crispy biscuits from just sesame seeds and banana. You can add a pinch of salt if necessary. Pictured here with an almond butter and strawberry topping.
All my recipes are gluten, dairy, egg and soyfree. These crackers are also free from grains and fats. They are vegan and ok for paleo (not AIP) and Medical Medium.
Sesame seed
Please note that sesame seeds can cause an allergic reaction in many people. For example, even if you are allergic to nuts and peanuts they might cause a cross reaction.

Equipment
- oven at 360F/180C
- oven/baking tray
- shaping ring 3,5inch/9cm
- spoon and fork
Ingredients
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 1 banana
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 360 F (180C). Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Mash the banana with a fork. Add the sesame seeds and mix.
- Form 4 equal mounds. Spoon a pile into the baking ring. Press against the edges. Lift the ring and smooth it out. I use the back of a teaspoon for this.
- Repeat 3 times.
- Place in the oven for 25 minutes.
- Turn the crackers over (carefully, they may still be a little soft). Put them back in the oven for another 5 minutes.
- Let cool on a rack.
- Store in the used baking paper or with strips of paper in between in the cookie jar. Not in a closed (plastic) bag or container.
